  • Cherri LeMarr
Cherri LeMarr was an aspiring veterinarian but roads often take you to unimagined places. Although, from a very young age she displayed a talent for drawing she was never encouraged to pursue her art but instead guided to careers that would be more "profitable."  In college, Cherri diverted from the veterinarian track and pursued her artistic talents through the field of graphic design at Purdue University.

Although, a designer now for over fourteen years Cherri decided to revisit her fine art talent four years ago. She was accepted to the first two juried shows she applied to, which gave her the encouragement to continue painting.

So far this early art career has lead her to exhibition painting, demonstrations, painting furniture as well as being the half-time entertainment painter for a PRCA rodeo in which she and fellow artist, Terry Womble, painted a bison from the back of a pick-up truck.
Cherri is currently pursuing her MFA in Illustration and looks forward to a "profitable" career in the fine arts.

Donna Mayo began sculpting in 2001 to satisfy the continual screams coming from her right brain, while working and living in a left brained world. The sheer desire to be heard could no longer be ignored.  Sculpting was my first artist choice, so I found a well-known Boulder, Colorado sculptor, Bill Vielehr, who agreed to give her a few private lessons.  Inspired, she took several workshops at the Loveland Art Academy in Loveland, Colorado, and the artistic journey begun. The human form became her  focus and landscapes. She likes taking the figure out of context, since she believes that parts of it can tell as much of a story as its whole.

She began painting in 2005, yet to have any lessons. She tends to leave some part of her life's story obscurely journaled on a portion of the canvas.

"I don't claim a particular style, and paint or sculpt to problem solve a new idea or to explore a new technique or medium.  I consider everything I produce a study, and rarely find anything completed."

Mayo is considered an outside artist from the stand point that she has not been formally trained in either sculpting or painting, basically self-taught, and creative outside of the mainstream art world.  My artistic training is largely based in observation, which is materialized in an expressionistic approach in various mediums.

  • Teresa Tisserat
www.Tisserat.com
There is much more to art than a painting on a canvas, an image captured from a camera, or a sculpture placed in a garden. For me art is a way of life, a way of expression, and even a way of healing. Everyone and everything in our world has a meaning, a purpose, and a destiny. However, everyone and everything in our world also has an affect on how we live our every day lives. Life is ever changing; a concept that cannot be brought to a halt, or be left abandoned. I enjoy conveying the aspect of live through various art forms and meanings. The beautiful thing about art is that no two people will ever see on piece the exact same way. I encourage you to look at my art and find your own meaning.

Teresa has had numerous art shows across the State of Colorado and the United States. Her artwork can be found in both corporate and healthcare facilities from Colorado to New Jersey.  She has also had her artwork displayed in American Furniture Warehouse. Teresa not only does commissioned work for interior designers and art consultants - but also is a free-lance art consultant herself.  If you are in the need for artwork for your home, office, or healthcare facility - whether you are moving, buying a new space or renovating - Tisserat Art Consulting  is  your source! She will work to find the artist to complete your vision!

Teresa also owns a handbag company, TraSh Bagz, with business partner Shawna Sambrano.
